Sometimes insurance companies and government agencies don’t do what is right. Instead, they intentionally mistreat and abuse the injured and disabled in our society. When a bully picks on the weak and defenseless, it should make a decent person angry. It does me, and that is why I have chosen to be a plaintiff’s attorney and a trial lawyer. As a trial lawyer, I use my knowledge of the law and my advocacy skills to make life better for injured and disabled Oklahomans.

Unfortunately, trial lawyers are being intentionally misrepresented by insurance companies, many politicians, and even the news media. These groups want the American public to believe that trial lawyers are nothing more than shysters filing frivilous lawsuits in an attempt to extort quick settlements or win the lawsuit lottery. In reality, a trial lawyer is a Warrior for Justice — a modern day knight in shining armor coming to the aid of the oppressed and ready to wage a battle for truth and justice against the oppressors.

Much of the public’s misperception concerning the extent of frivilous lawsuits is a direct result of a calculated campaign by special interest groups to distort reality. These special interests groups’ true motive is to enrich themselves while avoiding responsibility for their misdeeds. The current tort reform movement claims that it’s goal is not to close the courthouse doors to worthy claimants but only to get rid of the frivilous lawsuits. However, truth be told, their hope is to minimize corporate liability in all lawsuits, the vast majority of which are meritorious.

Representing the injured and disabled is more than a job to me — it’s my personal mission. I am passionate about the law and our judicial system. I am blessed in that I truly love what I do day in and day out. My ultlimate objective is to level the playing field for the average man, woman and child in our society as they seek justice from the Goliaths of the world of business and government.  I vow to work tirelessly and to leave no stone unturned until justice has been served, until those liable have been made to pay for their misdeeds. This is my personal commitment to each and every client.
